Bedroom 2: A Queen bed that sleeps up to 2, 40 inch smart TV dresser, 2 nightstands, Large closet, and sitting chair to get ready or relax. Bedroom 3: 2 bunk bed sets with a total of 4 twin beds 40 inch smart TV. Sleeps up to 4. Bedroom 4 / Office: a detached room with dedicated AC/Heat that is adjacent to the garage. We’ve added a sleeper sofa that converts into a double bed that sleeps 2, but this can also be used as an office to help remote workers escaping your home office for a week at the beach! The first floor features a custom-built chef's kitchen (soap stone countertops, luxury Thermador appliances, and a Boos Block island), living room, dining room, full bathroom with updated tile walk in shower, and screened in patio with 50 inch smart TV and outdoor dining set. In the backyard, relax, grill out, and enjoy the garden patio. Feel free to enjoy our fresh figs when they are in season! The second floor has 3 bedrooms complete with all professionally cleaned linens (including towels and washcloths) and a tastefully remodeled full bathroom with a clawfoot tub/shower combo. Throughout the house you'll find original hardwood floors, handcrafted build-ins, a relaxing screened in back porch, and a detached garage with an extra bedroom or office.
House Rules
By confirming your booking, you agree to adhere to the Rental Rules and this rental agreement becomes effective immediately. The renter’s agreement applies to all guests no matter their age or affiliation. The person who is booking must be 25 years old, for all other guests there is not an age requirement. If you bring more people than agreed upon by your reservation you will be asked to leave without a refund and/or charged an extra $100 per person per night. - Check in time is 4pm and check out time is 11am. No early check-in or late check-out without prior approval from the owner. An unauthorized late check out will be billed for an additional night and any lost revenue from future bookings that had to be canceled due to your late check out. We have stocked the home with many items including start-up supplies. However, you will likely need to supplement your own during your stay. We appreciate that our guests take good care of the home we have set up, and we do ask that you use only what you need during your stay 1. Smoking is NOT allowed, and Drugs of any kind are NOT permitted. If we find that you did smoke in the house there is a $750 fine plus additional cleaning fees and bill for resulting damage in the home. 2. People other than those in the Guest party set forth in the on-line agreement may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest. Guests are not allowed to exceed the occupancy limit agreed to in the on-line itinerary. 3. If you plan to party do not book this house. This is our home, and we appreciate you treating it with respect. 4. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises. 5.Keep the property and all furnishings in good order, removing any items from the House including living and kitchen furnishings is not permitted. 6.Only use appliances for their intended uses 7. PARKING – Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only. Parking on the road is permitted, two spaces in front of the house (not assigned parking, first come first serve) with plenty of additional parking along the street. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. 8.Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit bath towels or linens to be taken from the units. Beach towels are provided if needed. Check Out is at 11am. 9. Lock all doors and all windows upon departure 10. Garbage: All garbage must be stowed in the proper garbage receptacle, located next to the house. 11. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the system, you could be charged damages of up to $1000. 12. This is our home. Treat it as if it were your own. Every item will be looked at before arrival and after departure. If you cause damage, notify the owner immediately. Any damage to any items in the House including couches, chairs, tables, TVs, beds, sheets, towels, pillows, etc, is the responsibility of the renter. Failure to comply with the above rules will result in a non-return of security deposit and possible additional charges. Booking through Airbnb assigns your consent to all listed under "House Rules" 13. If you are found to have an animal without prior approval, you may be asked to leave without a refund and charged an additional $500 pet fee. WAIVER OF LIABILITY: I, (we, the guest), understand that we are wholly responsible for ourselves, children, and invited guests as relates to any activity or any facility we choose to use on the ranch. This includes, but is not limited to, boating, bunk beds, fishing, swimming, biking or walking. I, (we), hereby voluntarily accept all risk of personal injury, death and property damage (including personal property) to myself (ourselves), other guests or anyone on the Premises with our permission, which damage, illness, injury or death results from our use of the Premises. Furthermore, I (we) agree that I (we) will not make a claim against or sue the Owners or employees, family or related entities, for any bodily injury, death or property damage. I (we) understand that this is a release of Owner and agents from all liability with respect to any claims brought by invitees for damage or injury. Please be a good neighbor during your visit.
Other Details to Note
Linens and towels are included. They are professionally cleaned after every stay. With every rental, we include our 2018 Electric Club Car 4-seat golf cart for guests to use. MUST be a licensed driver to operate and a separate waiver is REQUIRED. Instead of constantly getting in and out of your car, you can effortlessly zip between the beach, the shops and restaurants on Mason Avenue, and the town's beautiful parks. This not only makes short trips incredibly convenient but also allows you to soak in the relaxed coastal atmosphere at a leisurely pace, turning a simple errand into a fun part of your day. It’s a convenient, stress-free, and enjoyable way to experience everything this beautiful town has to offer. Golf Cart: Renter must sign the Golf Cart Waiver in order to use the golf cart. All drivers must be licensed and insured. This is a law of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Drivers must follow all standard traffic laws and must not engage in behavior that will endanger passengers or others. The golf cart key will be kept in kitchen in a wooden box, along with the other house keys. Please return the key to that location at the end of your stay. Please make sure to plug the cart into the charger as it is fully electric. Make sure to push in all the way when plugging the cart into the charger – otherwise it will NOT charge. When you leave the alley, you should exit the LEFT from the back porch towards Nectarine St. The right path towards Plum Street has a steep drop that will result in damage to the golf cart. In general, use caution driving through town as there are some large drops at intersections that can cause the cart to bottom out. There will be an additional $25.00 charge for lost golf cart keys. Please return the golf cart to the garage at the end of your stay, in the same condition it was upon arrival. In the case of any damages, please report those to Joel.
